wow - life picked up again and i am getting busy. and it feels good...good to do something awesome every day.
i started up some classes at hopkins for a MS (not an MRS yet...[obligatory] fuck you kober). If i keep up my relatively difficult schedule of 2 classes per term, i'll finish the degree in 2 years...but the chances of that happening are slim. so i am expecting [a fitting] 3 years for the degree completion. it looks to be not terribly tough - although somewhat enjoyable. one of my profs actually works for the same company as i do - hilarious and awesome. classes take up monday and thursday nights - leaving me some free time to hang out at home or at the bars. oh, and i don't have to pay for anything but books and unrelated fees for my classes too...
tuesday i'm playing some v-ball with some coworkers. it's a great time...plus it makes me stay in somewhat of a physical form i would call "fit", but by no means do i feel healthy or in shape right now. i've been sick with something...but nothing too bad for me to fight out with my favorite medicine: bacardi (or a red caucasian). oh, and work is killing me with the sitting down for about 8 straight hours. honestly, i think my job will be getting more physical - probably with nerf guns and koosh bombs. that's right, koosh bombs.
in other news, my niece turned 1 and i witnessed it [and her walking] over at my bro's place in richmond VA. here's a shameless plug for some europe pics on picasa as well as random pics that i will post [randomly]: Pics. some of them are pretty good...others, well, i might have been drunk. and loving it. especially the canada day picture...it's pretty obvious which one that is...
i think really that's all that's going on - except people are retarded...and i can't remember where i parked. and yes, that could be a problem...i hope my car is still there...where i parked it.
later all - el wojo
PS: it is officially "9/11". 5 years after - and i still am upset with how the media has changed our lives into a gauntlet where we are constantly "in danger". life over here is too good to be true. most people's biggest worry is gas prices - and not life or death. this may be the pessimism and post-drunken pessimism speaking here...but [to the media] seriously, lay off. [to the 27 different 24-hour news networks] stop making up news and "Alerts". and on a more serious note: RIP Steve Irwin. Crikey, you kicked ass. Crikey.
