so...it's been a long time since i've felt like this. everything i do at rose nowadays feels just pointless. i may pick up a few tricks here and there, but right now, i don't feel like i'm learning very much...which reminds me much of my last term or two in high school. i could just pass by right now, and then graduate. but my GPA is on that margin between summa and magna cumma laude...close enough that one or two b's could definitely ruin it. even though i realize that numerically a 3.8 and a 3.9 are the same to employers [and more or less to me], they aren't to that damn award. dang it...all this just boils down to the fact that i'm going to have to work my ass off and maybe not get that award. if after this quarter my GPA falls below a 3.9, damn...next quarter = no inhibitions and no worries...
aside from this, i can't say too much is going on in my head or life. lemay has been initiated, i've got a job, school is getting closer and closer to ending (10th week is upon us - then only one more quarter of rose left), and the rest of my life will continue moving along. finals the week after next. then boredom and my final set of classes. i can only hope my final quarter is as great as this year started out. rush was great. school has been good [and easy]. and life is just peachy. although it sucks that VRoz will be leaving in a week or so...damn early graduaters [except me, i'm graduating on-time a year early...which i guess isn't on time at all].
to close this entry, i'm looking for some input: i have a couple of blank vacations coming up and i'm out of ideas, but i'm kinda on a budget. i want to travel a bit, and i also want to go somewhere for my summer "vacation" [basically a month and a half off between school and work]. if you have some ideas, recommendations, or invitations for any of the 1 week long breaks or my final vacation before life starts, feel free to leave a comment...i'll consider anything at this point...
