so, it's been a bit of a while since i've posted. i can't say that i'm not enjoying life...but i can say that i am loathing all of my projects right now...3 of them to be exact. Senior design, DSP, and vLSI. Holy shit...there's just a metric shit ton of surplus work to do for these projects...and all the while i'm just...well, tired. i'm falling asleep in lecture all the time, and more or less i talk like i'm completely trashed half the time. i think that school is more less my version of alcohol...because i more or less binge on it and get disoriented with it. oddly enough, i think i enjoy it more than alcohol as well.
anyway...onto other news. 39 freshman associates as of now. i have a new little bro: Matt LeMay who is a freshman engineering physics student. he kicks ass and is completely awesome. it's going to be fun to walk through this whole process one more time...but it does seem to be a shame that it will be my last time to experience these things.
in the search of a job, i'm being flown out post-finals to get interviewed by one company, and then i'm expecting to get several offers or rejections or queries for more interviews or plant tours soon...because i've applied to quite a few jobs in the course of the last few weeks. i can only hope that i get a job that i will sincerely enjoy...which more or less means it has to be a bit more fast paced workplace than what i've seen so far. but, i have to say that i'm pumped about the companies that i have interviewed for. it's going to be a good time figuring out which company i truly want to work for...
last week, when i was getting more or less overwhelmed with the workload i have been getting with all of my classes, i busted out the classic NES and SNES that i brought back from home. holy shit, are these systems completely awesome. i have been playing quite a few of the games that i was weened on way back in the day, and more or less i've just been using it to calm down after working on a project for a couple of hours. i look forward to next quarter, wherein i will most likely have time to play with those systems a bit more and look into playing newer games/reading some of the books that i've accumulated over the past 3 years or so.
ladies and gentlemen, i'm off to see what i can do with the night that remains. alter...
