i can't believe i'm even writing in this thing. life is so busy...yet so odd.
ingress is this week, which culminates with initiation on friday. It's going to be busy alone with that...i mean, honestly. so much to do...there's just too much to do. i wish i could do it all, too...i suppose that's my biggest fault. i want to do it all. but oh well...nothing ventured, nothing gained.
classes are getting horribly complicated. in OS we're constructing our own file system implementation for the FAT12 file system (aka 3.5" floppy drives). it's nasty work...and i've spent a good amount of time just making things easy enough so that my team will be able to just code some simple things and then change at most two or three things. oh well...
signals and systems can lick my balls. holy shit...integration has never been so much of a problem. but how many of you like to integrate t * exp(t) by hand? how about doing it 2 times for one problem...then simplify stuff with euler's identities. fucking god. this class is unreal in its expectations. i believe i would honestly learn more if i had to focus LESS on the INTEGRATION and MORE on the CONCEPTS. i'd say that this class is the biggest pain in my ass...just because of its overbearing nature. but yeah...what can i do? i suppose integrate...
technical communications (aka tech com) is just hanging out right now...which is good because every other class i'm in is accelerating in its expectations, and i just don't appreciate that at all. of course...i don't appreciate much when it limits what i can do when i get home from school.
engineering practice. we're building stuff with legos. that's all i have to say about that. i would like it...if it weren't frieking retarded with the amount of writing we have to do in the class. Then there's digital systems. we have a test tuesday night (right in the middle of ingress). it's going to be...less than fun. all i have to say is that it's more running around. we'll see what happens though...
for now, i probably am going to work on some prelab for signals and systems...and integrate. oh well...leave a comment.
oh yeah...i also got an offer to join yet another honors fraternity. eta kappa nu. this one is actually decent...in that it's for electrical and computer engineers...so i am going to petition to get into it. i'll be surprised if i do get in though...currently there are only about 10 members total on our campus....so yeah. i guess they're rather selective.
all out. wojo.
