well, finals are over, and i'm just here. i feel that finals went really well, although i could be wrong. the 4.0 probably will recede into my past, but that's because DISCO sucks...or i'll barely make an A in there. either way though, i'm happy this quarter. the classes i took didn't suck like others have in the past, and i feel like i've finally learned something about computer engineering (it only took a year...).
aside from finals, this week has been pretty calm. i played some UT2K4 just for old times sake, and man...i think i've improved somehow (or my aggression towards school is being vented out to the keyboard!). i also began xenosaga I last night...even though i bought the game about 2 years ago. it feels like the whole entire movie is just one big movie...which i'm ok with because it's not too bad. in fact, it's quite enjoyable.
today i bought some books for classes. i managed to get 2 classes worth of books for $30 from some of the brothers, but the rest of them are damn expensive. i still have yet to buy one more book, which will bring the grand total to just under 400. damn. book are expensive. if i didn't have these connections, i can guarantee that i'd be paying closer to 500 for the books that i have to get...but i suppose it's not too much money in the long run. but damn...i wish that i didn't have to buy these books for school!!
that's it for now, i've got to do something to keep myself awake...plus i would rather have fun than do nothing. i should be coming home on friday, but that's not guaranteed either. later///
