well, it has been a little while since i've written in this thing. but i guess that's for a good reason...i've been sick.
it all started with a headache, and then progressed into laryngitis, and then into a series of smaller sicknesses that all sucked [and mad em oversleep two of my classes [or at least that's the excuse i'm using for the absences].
so, then, i've been having a good time i suppose. right now i'm just getting off fall break. we didn't have class on thursday or friday of last week, which was nice because i doubt i would have been able to do too much paying attention in class. so, wednesday i woke up at 5 pm, which means that i slept for over 10 hours for the first time in a long, long time. it felt good, until i realized that i had to turn in some homework [because i overslept the one class i had that day by 4 hours], so i ran to school and turned that in. the prof took it, which is awfully lucky of me [and nice of her at the same time].
after that, i just hung out in the house because i didn't think that i'd be able to make the 4-hour trip home given my condition [of wanting to sleep and all]. so edmonson and myself watched finding forester, which was a good flick.
thursday afternoon i made the voyage back home, which was probably the quickest time that i've ever made it by a good 5 or 10 minutes [3:42]. then i just hung around at home. friday i woke up with a pretty sore throat, hence my mom made me go to the doctor and get some medication for the "illness" that i had. then, well, friday night. i spent that studying and doing my discoI take-home exam. boy did that one blow...
saturday my mom and myself traveled to indy for some scholarship banquet. it was kinda fun. my old physics teacher was there and we had some good laughs and talked a bit too. later on in the night, my mom beat me in rummy [damn...i had her by 100 points before the last two sets...damn it!], and then we went into indy and did some shopping and "touring" of the city. so then ...
i made it back to the haute. not much new here now...i guess i have to get some dinner and buy some soap. so yup. i'll write more later [if i get to it].
