so, tomorrow is my 20th. i'm guessing it's going to be bland...but the weekend should be nice because...it's freaking homecoming!!! my big bro and some other alumns are coming in town for the event...hopefully i'll get to see a lot of the seniors from last year. that'd be nice...
so. the last three days i've been pretty sick. i haven't really been sick with anything that put me out of commission for about 4 years [sophomore year of high school, i got something roughly equivalent to laryngitis / fever]. right now i think it's just a bad combination of several conditions at once: migraine, the common cold, lack of energy, pains in my neck / back, and one fucked up throat. so...basically the flu without the fever. and the flue i have not had in my lifetime as far as i can recollect. i feel about 20 times better than i did last night when i was helping out some guys with homework. i was basically reduced to just pointing and talking every once in a while. it worked...but man did that suck!
the real question on my mind though is this: what am i going to be able to do this homecoming? i mean, if i'm still sick, i won't be able to do much at all because i basically couldn't get to sleep last night due to one fan's noise about 20 feet away. damn...this could be bad. but, i am hoping for the best...
for now, i'm going to eat. then class [maybe], and then some sleep. and a lot of that. adios.
