so, it's around noon. this has to be the first time in a long time that i've decided to update the blog during the day. interesting...but this is only because it's saturday, and i'm bored.
so, i've completed the move into the house for the most part. schue and i have done a shit-ton of work in the room...most notably is removing the huge ass bar and building an entertainment center. we'e some things to move in today...when we get motivated to do it.
yesterday was interesting. i volunteered to help gordon move his bed from indianapolis to the haute. so, i was expecting something to go about...say, 5 hours tops. 4 hours expected. everything was going great...running about at 5 hours pace, 2 miles away from our exit into the haute on I-70, mile marker 13. "POP!!!" goes something under the truck we borrowed from one of his underlings from when he was an SA. wtf? "pull over dude..." we pull over, stop the truck in fear of seizing the engine. looking under the truck, we can see a few drops of oil going. i move the truck more off the side of the road, not yet noticing the spot of oil that formed under the truck there. anyway...30 minutes later, ted, the guy he borrowed the truck from [not me], shows up and makes the realization that the truck's starter blew up...perhaps taking out a few other things with it [hence the oil]. so, about an hour and a half later we're good to tow the thing [for free due to a AAA card we managed to pull from brennan, one of the brothers that had moved into the house already], moving the mattresses from ted's truck to brennan's kick ass truck. then, we finally got home, nearly 8 hours after departing to pick up the mattress. it was an adventure. lots of fun talking though.
hmmm....can't say too much else has happened. for now, i'm going to do stuff. later.
