holy shit. tired i am.
so, i've been pretty damn busy in the last 40 hours or so...in fact, you could probably say i've worked about 30 of the last 40 hours at some place...and none of it was easy work. i put in about 55 hours this week putting together trailers, and i "might" have gotten a raise (to $10/hour)...which would be nice. also, it would be nice to be put on some sort of bonus rate any time soon...being that it would add on anywhere around 100 to 300 to each of my checks! but anyway...
this weekend was the infamous bristol homecoming, but they moved it way out of the area of my house, which makes it 100 times better...because i don't have to see it or hear it at all. also, to make matters worse this time around, my mom was/is on a vacation in northern michigan with a bunch of her friends for their fiftieth birthday thing. and why does this suck? because i had to work at the front of the restaurant and run the show. and being that it was also an opera weekend, it was hell. by 6 on both nights (fri and sat), there was a wait. and then people with reservations were bitching their heads off because "i made reservations for 6:30 so i could eat and go to the play by 7:45". you == dumbass yields true. i actually had to tell one couple that they should probably go elsewhere for dinner [i don't know exactly where] because they were walking in at 7 thinking they could make it out by 7:45. yeah...so far it's been an "interesting" weekend. but it's bound to get better...even though it's barely midnight and i'm already tired enough to go to bed. yeah...in fact, i'm pretty sure i'm going to hit the sack in a few. later...
