Graduation, Raj Spoke

2004-06-06 : 11:52 p.m.

ok, so i have been busy. sort of...

i've been working a lot at the restaurant recently...doing whatever it is that they need. so far, i've only waited on tables once, which kinda bites because that's where i make the most money [and also where i have the most fun]....but it is the most work by far.

i've been looking for some sort of "second job" i suppose you could say. really though it will be my primary job if i land one because...well, to put it bluntly: i don't like working in the restaurant too much. for those of you who haven't worked for your parents yet, i suggest that you give it a try and see how it works out. it probably won't...and it's even worse when you are working with your brothers as well...damn, my brother luke can be one hell of a prick sometimes [althoguh i'm sure that he thinks the same of me...]

hmm...went to the high school graduation today. not too bad...kinda long, but the great part was raj's speech. humorous...and it said so little. i liked it a lot...after the graduation ceremony, i could only find about 10 people out of the 20 that i was looking for. but hey...i suppose that's ok. i did find the "important ones".

afterwards there was a surprise party for the raj-ah. and yeah, it was a good time. some awkward moments i'm sure, but i did manage to see quite a few other people that i wanted to see.

right now, i'm not sure what i'm going to be up to, but most likely i'll be up till 2am at least, and up around 8 tomorrow for some sort of meeting where i get to "learn" stuff about the restaurant's computer system...and more importantly, tell the people who put it together that thye are dumb as all hell in some aspects. oh well...

i'm going to do something. later.

ps: happy d-day thing.

PPS: i got another 4.0 [somehow], so that makes me one of the few at rose to do a whole 4.0 for the freshman year...
