so, this week has been ok. i haven't had the spare time i normally do, but i suppose that's because i had to write a paper in a day that i should have written over the course of a week. and then there's another paper that i'm going to write sometime tomorrow for rhetoric and comp [which i should have started a while ago as well...lol, but this will be easier than writing 3 or 4 pages in spanish]. another factor dipping into the spare time bin was the fact that i started to do a metric shit-ton of working out again. i have to say though, i enjoy working out a lot more than doing homework. the only thing that really sucks about it is that ither is no great time for me to go. we usually go at about 10 at night and work out for an hour or so. i don't know how much more definition i can get [being polish has its lows, of course], but strength i don't mind at all.
on the other hand, though, researching on daedalus has stopped momentarily. i figure that i will buy the majority of the components in mid to late may [and probably alter the plans just a bit], but for the most part, he is set in stone.
on another note, i wasted about 4 hours tonight watching some odd, yet amusing, movies. the first was a german film that goes by the title run lola run, and if you haven't seen it, i'd recommend it. it was a bit different -- both in style and plot. good altogether though. and then there was real genius, which i can now finally scratch off my list of movies that i need to watch -->. it was a good flick, but i can't say too much more than that. i mean, it's kinda like plato's last words: "I drank what?". damn. the humor was edgy, and given the profile of the school that i go to and the many parallels in that movie, i have to say it was amusing as all hell. and wtf? val kilmer....ha! damn...that's all i can say. watch it if you have the time, but try not to shave any cash on it.
so then, before all this movie watching i did do a bit of work. it started around 8am or so, when i rolled out to hatfield hall [the equivalent of an auditorium, for those of you who don't know], and did a whole bunch of cleaning and stuff with a bunch of the brothers. after that i went shopping for food for all the brothers because we had what we call 'work day' at the house. once a year, we just get a bunch of projects together to do on the grounds and...well, do them. all day long. in fact, i wouldn't be surprised if they are still working right now somewhere....crazy people. a whole lot of interesting stuff happened, the most noted of which was that we cut the buried power line out in front of the house with a backhoe...no one was injured, but a whole lot of people were pissed off. i would have been...but i didn't care too much. after all...i wasn't really dedicated to a project [kinda like usual, i just do what's necessary and what others don't want to do]. so then...i finished all that around 8 tonight. it was a bit of work, but i guess the 3 hours or so of movies i watched were a reward of some sort.
then...let's see. lots of homework to do tomorrow, so i might be getting to sleep [soon]. maybe.
or i'll look up computer parts. because i am a tool...yet, i wasn't the one that made this website, but i'd like to shake the hand of the man that did...unless he was a hautian...
